Go Large with Largs

This route gives you a bit of a taste of everything, from really fun twisties to nice straights to stretch your limbs. Particular highlight is the pass through Crawford John on the B740.

Largs is on everybody’s list of beautiful coastal villages.

Approximate Distance: 205 miles (330 km)
Approximate Duration: 5 hours 40 minutes

Filling Stations on Route

A really enjoyable route that would need a refuelling stop. Once again this is a beautiful area with the luxury of having a number of fuelling stations on route or in easy access.

Things To Do & See On The Route

Waverly Paddle Steamer – The Waverley is the only remaining seagoing paddle steamer in the world and docks in Largs between excursions.

Nardinis Café – Also in Largs and is renowned for it’s ice-cream. Nothing better after an enjoyable ride, leathers ripped off and soaking up the coastal sun.

Watch Out For

Farm muck on the roads mainly on the west side of the route.
